Hudson Williams' Lunar New Year is off to a fashionable start.
Following the success of Heated Rivalry, the actor was called to co-host Gold House's Lunar New Year Gold Celebration in New York City, where he stole the spotlight in a daring Prabal Gurung outfit that he described with a cheeky NSFW response to PEOPLE.
Inside Chinatown's Chinese Tuxedo, the 25-year-old heartthrob said his look was "c---," meaning it was checking all the boxes and very cool.
Gurung, a Nepali-American fashion designer, outfitted Williams (who was on the event's co-host committee and brought his mom out to commemorate) in a custom menswear ensemble featuring a baby blue crepe suit, satin tank top and matching tie. As for the blazer — well, that came off at some point in the night as he danced the night away on the eve of his 25th birthday.

Gurung also dressed co-host Yerin Ha in a bold tuxedo-inspired red silk gown from the Fall 2026 collection.
Gold House's celebration on Feb. 12 brought together tastemakers in the Asian Pacific community. Lola Tung, Sean Kaufman, Liam Oh, Avantika Vandanapu, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Anna Cathcart, Suni Lee, Bowen Yang, Melissa King and Padma Lakshmi were among those in attendance.
Speaking with PEOPLE on the red carpet, Bing Chen, co-founder and CEO of Gold House, shared his thoughts on Asian representation across all industries. "It's been incredible to see everyone's incredible rise. It motivates you to want even more. Not just for us, but for other communities. We love what Bad Bunny did [in reference to the Puerto Rican rapper's 2026 Super Bowl performance], teaching everyone that America's not one nation. We love what Ryan Coogler and Sinners have done. We just want more for everybody."

Heated Rivalry hit the big leagues following its debut on HBO Max on Nov. 28, and its two main stars, also including Connor Storrie, have been making a splash in the fashion world.
In fact, Williams made his runway debut with Dsquared2 during Milan Fashion Week in January. In a follow-up interview with Wonderland Magazine, he responded to the criticism surrounding his appearance.

"Some people were like, ‘Face card, no walk card.’ I had so much salt. I was trying to [channel] models who do high fashion, the stiff, robot walk. But then Dsquared2 is a fun show where you’re meant to swag it up. And I was like, I could have swagged it up. I could have walked with umph."

Fans can anticipate a second season of the acclaimed series, which is based off Rachel Reid's Game Changers novels, but in the meantime, Williams is set on other goals beyond the hockey rink.
"I’ve been writing a lot," he shared with Wonderland. "I have two separate journals. One is a manuscript, semi-autobiographical, about this period in my life, where I blur the lines between fiction and real life. Then I have one where I just recount things: I met this person today, this happened."
He added that he keeps a running Google Doc where he's "building my internal monologue, writing down what I’m thinking and feeling in hotel rooms between events. It’s really fun to write."
