After a super successful run of concerts this past fall, pop singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan has extended her tour with a new leg of shows in the U.S. this summer.
McLachlan shared the big news on Instagram on Feb. 12, saying, "Hello everyone! I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be taking my #BetterBroken tour across the US this summer 😊."
"I can’t wait to play these songs for you in some of the most iconic outdoor amphitheaters, and to be sharing the stage with the incredibly talented @allisonrussellmusic each night," she went on, announcing that singer Allison Russell is going to be performing with her each night of the tour.
The thrilling announcement also noted that the tour would be in support of McLachlan's personal passion, saying, "$1 per ticket will be donated to @sarahschoolofmusic which provides musiceducation and mentorship to underserved children and youth facing barriers to access."
For those interested in buying tickets, McLachlan has a presale through her website that will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 17th, at 10 a.m. local time, while the general public sale will happen on Thursday, Feb. 19, at the same time. Fans can also buy a VIP package with some great perks if they are interested.
Russell commented on the big news, writing about her partnership with McLachlan on the tour, "And now it can be told! The Rainbow Coalition and I are ecstatic to be opening for Goddess/Queen/Icon @officialsarahmclachlan #BetterBroken - and so proud to be part of supporting @sarahschoolofmusic - see y’all this Summer! 🫶🏾🥹🌈✨."
