Almost 20 years after Dunder Mifflin Scranton temporarily transformed into the *Runway *newsroom, a pair of *The Office* stars reunited at *The Devil Wears Prada 2* premiere.

*Office *alum B.J. Novak is one of the new additions to the cast of the highly anticipated sequel. When walking Monday's red carpet, he shared an embrace with his old castmate John Krasinski, whose wife Emily Blunt reprises the role of *Runway *staffer Emily Charlton in *The Devil Wears Prada 2*.

"That was a great surprise," Novak told *New York Live* of the encounter. "I had a feeling I'd see him here. But the last time I actually saw him was at Lake Como, filming this movie. And before that, it was probably Dunder Mifflin."

Novak and Krasinski's relationship actually goes back even further than *The Office*. The duo attended high school together in Newton, Massachusetts, only to be cast on NBC's American adaptation of the iconic British comedy years later.

Krasinski starred in all nine seasons of *The Office *as adorable salesman Jim Halpert, who became half of the beloved couple at the center of the series. Novak served as a writer and producer, while also playing Ryan Howard, who starts as a temp at the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, before eventually rising to the rank of corporate executive. The power then gets to Ryan's head, and he's arrested for misleading shareholders. He later returns to Dunder Mifflin as a temp who is very uninterested in his job. Novak exited *The Office* ahead of its final season.
