Amber Glenn, a 26-year old figure skater out of Plano, Texas did more than give a record-shattering performance during her short program at the U.S. Nationals Figure Skating Championship. During her January 7, 2026, she timed every flawless movement on the ice seamlessly with a pop-culture musical phenomenon that momentarily turned the arena into a Madonna tribute show.

As soon as Glenn took the ice, the crowd could be heard singing their favorite lyrics to the 1989 hit song. Her second and final performance of the competition airs tonight, January 9, 2026, on NBC Sports and Peacock. U.S. Figure Skating will announce the 2026 Olympic team heading to the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympic Winter Games on Sunday, January 11, at 2 p.m. ET.
